Best Garden Hose?

I have a really crappy garden hose thats stiff and gets tangled, and doesn't store very easily. Any recommendations on a good hose thats relatively cheap?

Continental. I got the black one from Home Depot.

The new ones are made in China and suck. The black classic octagonal shape hose is better, but the continental hoses are a lot better.

I use the flexzilla hose. It doesn't get tangled but does kink easier. It is like a wet noodle in the summer time haha.

Flexzilla hoses have been a godsend for me; mine doesn't seem to kink when there's water pressure going through it. They're a little more expensive than competing brands but definitely worth the money. I'll be switching my airhoses over to Flexzilla soon too.

I use to work for a garden center and all we used were flexzilla hoses. We never had a problem with them getting tangled or linking. They also took a beating.. people would ram them with their cart while trying to water plants.

Depends what you're trying to do with it, but I've had stellar results with the Aterod expandable garden hose on Amazon. I just use a 1.7 GPM pressure washer and it feeds the pump just fine. There are a bunch of similar hoses on Amazon that are all the same so I'm not trying to plug that particular brand.

I just picked up a FlexRite 75' heavy duty at home depot for under $40, really happy with it so far especially with the connections. I looked at the Continental while I was there as well and does seem very good, but I went with what I thought had the best value for the price.

I picked up one of those 50ft ones from Costco. Wasn't crazy expensive.

Also have a shorter Craftsman one.. but it's too short.

The best? Eley. Cheap they are not though. Rarely is cheap going to be "best."

I like those snake looking ones that retract when the water is off. Makes for easy storage when not in use and doesnt tangle like a normal hose.

I currently working on a hoseless hose. Kinking hoses and cheap carpets are my least favorites parts of my job.
